A relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to oil painting, held as part of my small-group Studio Sessions in Jervis Bay.

This workshop is for you.

Join me in my Jervis Bay studio for a fun, relaxing and creative introduction to oil painting, designed especially for beginners and those wanting a gentle refresher.

In this hands-on workshop, I’ll guide you step by step through the fundamentals in a clear, easy-to-understand way — no overwhelm, no pressure, and no prior knowledge needed.

Everything is provided, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the experience. This makes it the perfect opportunity to give oil painting a go without the expense or confusion of buying materials you’re unsure about.

While it’s impossible to learn everything there is to know about oil painting in a single day, this workshop is a true introduction. You’ll learn:

• what materials are used and why

• how to safely and confidently start a painting

• foundational techniques you can build on at home

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a solid understanding of the basics — and, most importantly, the confidence to continue exploring oil painting on your own.

The workshop is held in my Jervis Bay studio and numbers are strictly limited to just 6 participants, ensuring plenty of one-on-one guidance, personal feedback, and support throughout the day.

Workshop Refund Policy

Full refunds are available up to 7 days prior to your class. 

Within 7 days incurs a $50 fee and the remainder will be either refunded or you may like to use it as a credit towards a future workshop.

Bookings are also transferable... just let me know ahead of time if possible.

** Please note that as a small business I have decided to introduce the $50 cancellation fee for workshops so as to keep them somewhat more viable in the event of someone cancelling in the last week, especially when booking halls and supplying materials... thank you for your understanding 🙂
